A while back, our class had been looking for a study on end of life planning and death. Our church library had copies of Rueben Job’s Living Fully, Dying Well, so we decided to give it a go. Although published a couple of decades ago, the material held up well. After all, dying is a pretty timeless subject.
There’s a DVD that goes with this book series, but it appears to be out of print. The good news is that the video segments mirror the material presented in the book, so you can easily do the study if you can’t get your hands on the DVD. If you go that route, you’ll still be able to ask the questions from my lesson plans that appear in the DVD sections. Just move them down alongside the regular chapter questions.
The study is divided into eight sessions. In Chapter 3, I thought the video was a bit dated, so I included a couple of alternate YouTube videos you might consider.
If you use these plans, let me know how they went for your group in the comment section.
